Meet Brian
Brian Wiklem's 35-year journey with the Cizeta V16T began at the 1989 Los Angeles International Auto Show, where he first encountered what he describes as "the most beautiful exotic Italian sports car" of his life. As a producer for the legendary driving simulator Gran Turismo, Brian helped bring the Cizeta V16T to virtual life in 2003, which led to a friendship with Claudio Zampolli himself.
Given unprecedented access to Zampolli's archives, Brian discovered a treasure trove of materials that inspired him to document the complete history of this extraordinary supercar. In 2012, he published the definitive book on the Cizeta V16T, establishing himself as the foremost authority on these rare machines.
His expertise later led to involvement in the digital preservation of the unique Cizeta-Moroder prototype, creating a 3D model that accompanied the car's $1.36 million auction in 2022. Brian's passion culminated in his role presenting a Cizeta V16T at the prestigious 2024 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in the 'Wedge-Shaped Concept Cars and Prototypes' class—a fitting recognition of his dedication to preserving the legacy of this automotive unicorn.
